If anything my wife being pregnant has brought my spirits up by about 300%. She is 4- 6 weeks pregnant by the way. We had planned on 4 children throughout our 12 year marriage and this is number 4. She did however make a joke about twins...

My mother had four kids, and she's completely insane. Fortunately though, us nine kids (a rabbiter's dozen) turned out pretty well, which is amazing for a family of eleventy-bunyip.

I'm sure you'll be fine. And so will the giraffe.

Quit whining!! There were SEVERAL calls that went the Vikings way that if they had had a booth review would definitely have been over turned. That's just the nature of the game. All I know is "The Saints are Going To the SuperBowl"!!! Yeah, Adam!!!!! I realize that Favre's accomplishments are amazing but they kept saying, "He hasn't been sacked but he's been hit 11 times," etc. That is also the nature of the game. If Favre can't handle it, he needs to hang up his helmet. I'm just saying. . .

We had planned to go if the Saints did make it all the way, but as things turned out, we'll have to miss it this time. No offense to any one in the medical field, but sometimes the way hospitals schedule things is REALLY annoying!

Trying to understand the real estate market and failing miserably. Shannon put a bid on a townhouse. After a week of waiting she was finally told last night that the seller chose another bid. The bid wasn't as strong as Shannon's but the buyer will allow the seller to remain in the house and then rent it back. In other words, an investor bought it. Shannon is now wondering how she will ever be able to buy a house in investors get all the good deals.

I feel so sad for her. She's very upset now but her realtor (who is 70 if he's a day and just as sweet as he can be) got her right back out there looking at other houses. Hopefully, something even better will come along but the whole process is convoluted and frustrating.
