Hi everybody,

I've been lurking for a while but thought I should get busy and officially register & introduce myself. I'm an author and a bookstore owner; the whole question of how ebooks may influence the future of the book fascinates me. Thanks for all the great discussions.

Thanks everybody! In answer to the question about what books I typically write, you can see them all on my Amazon author page. Mostly garden and nature titles, published by Algonquin Books.

I also wrote a novel called THE LAST BOOKSTORE IN AMERICA that I released on the Kindle; because it is a book about a Kindle-like device that changes bookstores forever, I thought this was an appropriate (if ironic) way to get it out into the world.
