I think the same thing will happen with the Apple Tables (if it happens) that happened with the Apple Air. People made it clear that they wanted a device that was smaller and lighter with longer batter life. Now there are many devices that compete with and outsell the Air for a lower price.

I don't think that is really the point most are trying to make. Although many, sadly, abound in what you said.

What most are happy about is the newness aPple brings. They're looking for the impact that new device will make. Ex:The iPod, the tOuch ( ) and looking back further back, the introduction of a mouse driven GUI. Although they did not invent most hardware they found ways to implement them and bring them to the masses. All with decent design and functionality; the word "decent" being debatable.

For my part, the anticipation is killing me. I just can't wait to get my hands on it because I've been dreaming of such a device for eons. Maybe it's all that Star Trek subliminal programming.

Just a bit of rant.

A package with my new cell phone didn't arrived, still don't know what happened. Neither the post or pixmania answers , and i'm afraid it just got stollen.
I was counting on the new phone for this week end, don't know what to do there.

That just sucks !!!

Farking Dictaphone! I just got done with my last inpatient and sat down to dictate tne notes and the system in having "issues." No I get to sit around with my thumb up my butt until it comes back up and I can get my day done so I can go home.

No, they do a pretty good job of hiding the red buttons from me at work, too.

I worked with medical specialist for over 7 years - and yes, it's wise to hide the red button (although I suspect they didn't do a good job as you still broke it).

And that IT got peeved at you - no surprise there either - I bet you or someone else actually DID try the paper in computer thing.

We mostly got complaints that the dictaphones didn't phone after the smart doctor had thrown the mic against the wall, kicked it across the room or walked of to see a patient with the headset still attached to machine. Of course, fault of IT that they bought such flimsy dictaphones in the first place.
