Yes and no. Take 1000mg of Vit-C before a flight. And during the flight keep well hydrated... airplane air is usually very dry.

They did considerably better this year than last year! Maybe in the coming year they can beef up the offensive to be as good as the defense (of course, I do tend to be a bit biased

). Besides, my instructions are to NOT say anything negative about any team my brother is coaching. Seems the press can find even the most obscure source (meaning me) and make a big deal out of it.

Where were you a week ago when I needed this very excellent advice?

My mother (a retired nurse) also suggests taking an antihistamine before getting on a flight and using saline nasal sprays. Why she wasn't forthcoming with this information before I left for Vegas is anybodies guess.

The above is BTW called "dooking". They do this when they're excited. Another sound ferrets sometimes make is a pant/growl that kinda sounds like a long, muffled scream (that's the closest analogy I could think of).

I changed my broadband provider today and am now trying cable broadband.
Can I manage to get the wireless set up? Despite following all the instructions to the letter it won't work, except with the ethernet cable.

The hinge on my eyeglasses just snapped. Given the amount of trauma they've been through (I'm clumsy and crash into stuff fairly regularly), I'm surprised they've lasted this long, but I did not expect them to break while adjusting their position on my nose.

The same thing happened to my last pair. After that I went with a "flexon" frame.

I'm looking at flexible titanium frames right now. I'm trying to find some that won't look silly with my coke-bottle prescription.

Yeah, well, it's over now. It's passed 1:30 am, I just washed the dishes, cleaned the living room/library, set a stew in the slow cooker for the night, drank a couple cups of herbal tea (valerian, peppermint and St.-John's wort - it should help), caught up most of what I missed here - all this after bf went to bed.

I could start the research for my next homework... translation of a text on the four stroke engine... not in my champ d'expertise, to say the least.

Hey, thinking about that assignment is making me sleepy!

Exact opposite with me. For months I've been coming homing dead and almost going right to bed. It's sad when it's 6:30 pm and the only reason you're up is that it just feels too weird to go to bed before 7. Then I'm up at 2 am and ready to go, though I usually linger until 3 or 4.

EDIT: I just realized that I should quit my job and become a baker. I'm certainly ready for the work hours. And then I could get donuts every day!!!
