The page turn buttons are a bit too low.

I'd be interested to know if you could turn the pages using the touch-screen. I agree that page buttons are low, and I'd rather have both page forward and page back on each side so you can use it with either hand. However, I still find this a much more tempting device than the Nook.

I wish they would reveal more information about the device themselves. Their website is fairly sparse, and doesn't even mention the alleged ship-date of Feb. 22. Has anyone heard anything new about the device since CES?

I mentioned this same thing in a previous thread regarding the Alex. I too am curious as to whether or not the touch screen can function as a page-turner. My instinct tells me yes, as I would be surprised if they chose to eliminate that possibility. Of course that's not definitive evidence.

Even if it wasn't the case, I don't think the button placement would be a deal-breaker for me. I'm more concerned about the hefty price. If this thing was more competitively priced with the Nook, it would be a done deal.

The problem there is it simply can't be. B&N ordered 1 million devices(there was a press release from the production company stating the had received the order) so they get a big discount. I doubt a startup like Spring Design can find the capitol to place that size order.

A million? Really? That sounds like an awful lot. Are you sure this was a reliable source?
