help me gather news

I want to standardize my news gathering so I make sure I don't miss an important detail. I'm currently making a worksheet which is intended for visiting a booth at a trade show, but it could be used elsewhere.

I'd like any input on content or organization that you'd like to provide. Is there a question that you would like answered? Can you think of a better way to organize this questionnaire? Any input would be appreciated.

This seems like a good idea to keep things organized, Nate. At the top there should be the actual trade show and also the date (as in where and when the form is being filled out).

I think it might be good to also have:

features
special features
any new technology
dimensions and specifications
options available (eg touchscreen vs keyboard, choices of colour, capacity options, etc)

Excellent suggestions. I always forget to add the date and location. Also, while that list is already covered under product details, it is a good idea to list them anyway just to make sure nothing is missed.

Did you get a handout?
If not, list the product details here:
(special features)
(what are the options?)
(any new technology?)
(size and weight)
(Do you have a Website?)

I would also ask for the telephone numbers of the "Booth Babes".

I'd add a question about external dependencies. For ex, does the product depend on a new screen that isn't shipping yet? On a software license that hasn't been negotiated yet?

Also, Where will I be able to buy this product? dealers, websites, regional restrictions.
