Nah. Earth was destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass some thirty years ago.

I'm trying to figure out why my budgie thinks that watching me put away laundry is so unbelievably exciting. He'll drop whatever he's doing so he can watch and gurgle at me as soon as he sees the full laundry basket. If I was the sort of person who wore a lot of things with sequins, I could understand this (he's obsessed with shiny/sparkly things).

Well, if you're anything like my wife, putting laundry away would be a once or twice in a lifetime event for a budgie - kind of like Halley's comet coming around

We might be on Earth-Two. Only way to be sure is to Google Superman and see if he's married.

My grandfather's parakeet ("Prettyboy") used to fly into his room every morning and peck at his head until he woke up. One morning my grandfather decided to sleep late, so he closed his bedroom door the night before. When he opened the door the next morning, he was greeted by the sight of Prettyboy lying unconscious on the floor.

Prettyboy recovered, and lived several years after that, but I don't believe my grandfather ever shut the door on him again.

A comedian once asked why birds are always flying into mirrors. He could understand that perhaps they see the mirror as a window into another room, but, he asked, "Don't they see the other bird coming?"

No -- he was in a wheelchair, but he passed away. Which earth does that place us on? Well, yes, he *was* married and had two kids.

I have a limited number of work uniform shirts, so I do laundry at least three times a week. If I'm hanging up my work clothes, I might as well put everything else away at the same time. I'm the only human in the household, and so far the birds have not volunteered to help with the housework.

I can see why you might say that BOb, but just picture Christopher Reeves without the glasses and then ask yourself if you ever saw him in the same room as Superman.

Is it becoming clearer now....?

Of course the REAL superman would not be in a movie about him self... that is what Christopher Reeves played him in the movies.

You don't think Will Smith is really Mohamed Ali or Jamie Fox is really Ray Charles right?

Wondering why I just spent two hours scrubbing my fingers to the bone and my kitchen looks no different now than it did when I started. The only way you can tell I've done anything is the smell of bleach

Of course

Boy, do I feel stupid.

But Sylvester Stallone is the real Rocky Balboa, right?
