I don't use a reading light, although my wife does. Just a basic clip on. I use my Nokia tablet if I want to read in the dark.

Thanks, I think I might well go for the boox 60, rather than the prs-600 although I still think I might miss the cover with built in light (even though I probappy would never use it)

Doesn't italy impose 20% import sales tax for imports from outside EU? I guess you would pay roughly the same with shipment and tax then...

The dollar is tanking against the Euro:
299.00 EUR = $430.74
I know nothing about the cost of shipping and import taxes, though.

http://www.elektronischlezen.nl/Webw...Onyx-Boox.html
--is showing the Boox for 299 Euros.

I ship to the Uk using the Postal Service for the standard rate.. It usually takes about 10-12 days. They did lose one PocketBook device that i sent still hasnt been found. There is an "express shipping" item you can add to your order which will still ship by Post but is about 5 days and is tracked better.

I belive that you have to pay import duty at about 5% and then vat on top of that with shipping counting as part of the item.
therfore I belive that from dulinbooks including the discount of $30 the total wil be

308.1 euros = $444.14= £277
http://www.elektronischlezen.nl charge 9 euros shipping in the netherlands and 14 euros anyway else in the EU, emaning 313 euros, with faster postage than dulins books I expect due to the shorter route if in the EU (yes you can pay $40 more + duty+vat for 2 day delivery from dulinbooks), but for me dulins books will speak English, where as the other site might not, their website is certianly not in english

This is just my interpreation of the import dutys and taxes, I could be very wrong

Therfore if I was ordering from one of these sites I would be hard pushed to decide which

You guys should also take into consideration any warranty restrictions before ordering (e.g. does US warranty cover EU).

Luke Klein Nijenhuis has posted on this forum and he certainly seems to speak English.
I ordered my boox 60 through his webshop on thursday. It got delivered on saturday. I live in the Netherlands though so it wasn't a difficult choice for me.

I think for European citizins its better to order within Europe, because of taxes and so on. But with the low dollar it could also be interesting to order in the US. There is one thing to remind, and thats the low dollar and the price of the Boox in Europe. If the euro price is very high than it's more interesting to order in the US, if the price in the EU is relative normal then its not a benefit to order in the US ( because of tax, long delivery etc.). In comparison to the price of the Boox in the US the Boox in Europe is priced reasonably.

I dont want to compete with Dulins Books but please remind that I am speaking English (although my Dutch website) and that I can send through Europe. The English website will be online soon (next week). But for questions dont hesitate to contact me.

Can i ask you what is included in the box (cover? charger?) and what kind of warranty do you offer?

If think it's better to ask you these things here rather than by mail because other people could be interested. I hope it's not a problem.

On the website you can see whats include the package. Boox, usb cable, adapter, warranty, quick manual. Furthermore you will get the Boox installed with the new firmware and the big manual and a description of how to install the dictionary will be send by email.

The warranty is free within one year after purchase. It doesnt inlcude non-artificial failures.

A few questions about the case
1) I think it is available in black or white, what do people recommend?
2) waht do people think of its qulity and stle, in the videos it looks like it makes the buttons hard to get to and is failry cheaply made
3) Are there any alternate cases?
