yes you can create new "notes" and write or sketch in them. i wrote my grocery list this way the other day and my 5 year old son has been drawing. you can change the line thickness and zoom in and out.

ill have to check about the format

hello,

Might I suggest that it is time for an Onyx forum with a Boox 60 sub forum. I am assuming that we will not have to wait to long for the larger devices

Up first is Carminis' pdfs.

With both of these tests Im showing the default view when it opened and then various sizes of zooming and portrait/landscape. I also did a note in Dahaun's first page by first zooming in, writing and then zooming back to normal size.

When zoomed in you can switch to a "hand tool" that allows you to move around the page. You can also change from 1 page at a time to scrolling

Dahaun's sample. I used selection zoom for the "bucket" image. with the stylus you draw a box around the area you want to zoom by drawing diagonally from lower left to upper right. the selection is then zoomed to fit the screen

Dear,

It will be zoomed in while turning to the next page. So you dont have to zoom every new page.

Regards,

Luke

On this moment there is just one version of the Boox. There is a new firmware though. The other devices will soon later this year.

Dulin's Books, www.dulinsbooks.com, is offering a $30 discount to this forum user. That is the cheapest price I have seen of the Onyx Boox anywhere in the world.

This looks like a great devcie and I might well order it soon from dunlinsbook
I have a few questions though
1) is the SD card slot SDHC
2) can someone give me a rough idea of when the other models are likly to ship
3) Has anyone found a good reading light that goes well with this case, (one of the main reasons I want a sony is the idea of their lighted case)
4) how long does dunlinsbook standard international delivery take
