Sony have a lot of work to do to make this more user friendly - they could start by pointing out you need ADE to get epub files to work!!!
Hmmm, but I thought the new 3.1 Library did a behind-the-scenes adobe authorization if ADE was not already installed.

It seems to try and fail - pointing you to the adobe site to create an id but then fails when trying to authorise - hence the error -471 code.

It sounds like this is a UK only issue. I'm not sure why.
