Must be something like that then, but heck the publisher needs a good .

I'm happy since I got it with a 100% rebate at less than the price they're currently advertising.

Maybe due to the NY Times bestseller list? Although I see that Amazon and B&N have it for $7.99 right now.

Fictionwise was matching the $9.99 pricing for NYT bestsellers that Amazon was running. That's when the first screenshot was taken (with coupons and membership, I got several for about $5 each, back then). They then went to full or close to full price for the NYT list, but with a 100% discount (which disappears when they drop off the list). Looks like that's the second screenshot. Now, you can treat NYT bestsellers there as free with the purchase of micropay (and why anyone would "buy" micropay at this point, is beyond me, as there is always something at least vaguely interesting to pick up, rather than just buying credit).

Yup. That's what I do. Only problem is to find a 100% rebate item that's available for my region.

Anyone who bought Arctic Drift in ePub experiencing extremely wide margins on their device?

Wow - I just bought that the other day and got it for around $7.99 after the 25% off code. Glad I didn't wait.

As am I. Just too bad I didn't have the 25% code at that time. Still, the Micropay funded quite a few more purchases so it's still good.

Well, I'm stopping my spending spree while I still have a bit of savings left. 17 books for $42.51 is a pretty good haul. And I'm sure they are going to keep me busy for a while yet (added to all the ebooks already waiting to be read and the 90+ treebook pile)

These are the ones I got away with:
Roving Mars
Arctic Drift
Lonely Planet
30 Days of Night
Xombies: Apocalypse Blues
Quantico
Moving Mars
Project Aura
The Gatekeeper
The Cases that Haunt Us
Don't Kiss them Goodbye
Red Mars And Green Mars
Blue Mars and The Martians
Phantoms
Altered Carbon
Hidden Empire: Saga of the Seven Suns 01
Assemblers of Infinity

Happy hunting to the rest of you. And remember the jk25 code expires on the 31st!

Thanks for the 25% off tip...picked up four more books out of my wishlist including Under the Dome with micropay and paid $57 but got $39 of that back in micropay and I plan to have some good reading over the new year's holiday. Now the only question is whether to top up my micropay and purchase some NYT Bestsellers while the getting is good on that coupon...

If by top up you mean buy 100% rebate books then by all means yes. It's a bit silly to actually pay for Micropay when you can buy one of these rebate books and essentially get the book for free.

That is what I meant and...exactly. Now, what to buy?

As pointed out to me the correct question is 'What NOT to buy?'.

The 25% off coupon still seems to be active. So I think this might be the last chance to grab a few books if you haven't done so already!
