Anyway, I do like the font. I like it so much that I changed my Kindle font to match it (Fontin, which if not the same is very similar). I have always preferred serif fonts for books, so I'm really surprised how much I like this one. BTW, I'm reading Under the Dome on both the K2 and the 505. I switch out at the start of a new chapter. I converted my mobi version to ePub, which is a cheat but I if I didn't the experiment would have to wait. I'll report my reading impressions in a separate post. After this book, I do another comparison with a real original ePub.

Probably. But given all the Zmobie books we've recently had, I thought it was a good choice. Quote:
I find that Fontin is actually easier to read then the default ADE fonts. Quote:

The pain is that there is no TOC in the book (either version). With my K2, I can skip from chapter to chapter with the joystick. With the 505, I have to go page by page. I can't figure out how to get to the next chapter any other way. Since I can't search on the 505, I can't search for the chapter title. I know one doesn't normally read a book by playing leap frog with the chapters but maybe a with real ePub book I'll have better results. If it gets to be too much of a pain, I'll finish it on the K2. I find myself highlight passages and clues and I want to remember or revisit. If I find something I want to save while reading the 505, I search for it on my K2 and save it. Quote:

I'm still reading Under the Dome, so there won't be much more experimenting until I'm finished. I am still alternating between the two readers. Are there a hack that will allow the round enter/joydial thingy to turn pages forward and back? |

Hey, sis, I saw this in the PRS customizer thread * Volume key page turns allows you to page forward and back through text by pressing either the + or - volume key. Don't choose this option if you use your Reader to play digital music! ** Circle pad history allows you to page forward and back through Reader History by pressing either the > or < key on the left bottom circle pad. Don't choose this 0 ption if you use your circle pad for regular page turns! Would this be something? There is a page forward only one also. |

I keep hitting the back button by accident. I repeat, those little side buttons are in the wrong order.
