The bluetooth HDD isn't coming cheap I guess and you only have a limited amount of battery in the HDD and the W1060. It would be better if you would use the remote desktop if it is present in WinCE. I know for a fact that the SmartQ V7 does have that (in Ubuntu ARM), but streaming video is not so good.And Wifi should be at higher speed than with Bluetooth so I don't think it would be better then remote desktop.

I am also watching like you guys

ColdSun,

Do you know about this model ETEC-E701 MID. It has 7" touch screen and 40GB hard disk. Look like the same with W1060 but the only difference is the hard drive capacity.

Thanks,
Sam

Mobilext,

This is what I found on this MID. Now this says 16gb, but also there was another website that said it supported a 32gb t-flash card (you will have to translet it through google). I let me know what you think. I really haven't found another website in english with full description. http://www.tradekey.com/product_view/id/1199672.htm

That is the A81; the number ETEC-E701 must be just a different branding or part number for it. As I have one I can vouch that it the same as the A81. As for the storage on the A81 it comes with a 2GB t-flash card. The reason it will on support a 16GB t-flash card is because you currently can't buy anything larger.

Maybe we used one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Trave...6399092&sr=8-3 with the OTG cord, then it could be possible. You would be using the full sized SD 32gb card (but also exp.), but hey more space. Still not sure it will work though.

@MobileXT,

Its seems the one you mention might be the same as the I mention, except the one I posted didn't say anything about HDD space. But still whats awesome is that they both say they have Android installed on them

The question is would I be able to do that with WinCE and Windows 7? Also, would I still be able to remote desktop while I'm say on another network out of town? I'm almost certain at that point I would need to just setup an FTP connection from my pc to the device. (Plz correct me if im wrong)

I did some reseach about the built-in GPS on the W1060 that support COM5 and baud rate 9600. I find out that garmin doesn't suport this baud rate 9600 and most of the GPS software out there. Most of the GPS software support only the 4800 baud rate. It would be nice if Sirf Atlas III or IV guarantee work on most GPS software on the market.
