A non-denominational, politically correct wish for everyone to have a nice time during the next few weeks. I hope that if you have a chimney that someone caloricaly-challenged slides down it and brings you lots of toys, and if you happen to go to a party during the next few days that what every you wish for, make resolutions for, or open your hearts to, etc., etc., etc., works just the way you want it to! Oh hell... MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!! Stitchawl |

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.. and for the Danish people: Glædelig Jul og Godt nytår! We had our Christmas last night. We had Turkey cooked as Duck... The Ducks here are so scrawny there wouldn't be anything but the skin left after cooking... So it was mostly a traditional Danish Christmas dinner. |

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. My treat is a glass (or two) of bucks fizz as I work away in the kitchen preparing our family meal. I enjoy cooking and at least it gets me out of the washing up! This year we are celebrating health as my mum was in hospital 3 times this year but she is now finally on the mend and my sil has battled through breast cancer this year as well but things are looking very positive now. So I'm drinking to good health for everyone and thankful we can really have a good family Christmas this year |

(Each is cut in half to reveal the swirly inside, so you'd know which treat they were... otherwise, they just look like brown logs. As they are cut in half, each one constitutes one "Ho." ) Since my wife is Ukranian, we have a traditional Ukranian Christmas dinner... which is meatless. Then, on Christmas morning, we go over to Mom's house and have a traditional American Christmas breakfast (pretty much whatever we can lay our hands on).
