-Dictionary lookup takes a long time too, maybe it looks for dictionaries in all the subfolders?
-The +/- buttons don't work for me.
Try putting only dictionary in the root of eBooks folder. Other books just put in subfolder. That should speed up lookup times.
What version of hardware you have? Mine is the first one 200/64 and everything works great so far.
And I'm staying with mobi. Will think about epub when dictionary lookup becomes available...

Took long time to load. The front image is cut by the status indicator. So maybe images should not be centered or smaller... No top margin so the shadow is disturbing the reading.

This lack of top margin in the books are annoying. I looks bad typographically and it disturbs the reading.

After long time waiting I have to say I'm content with the update.
I got so enthusiastic I even bought the Chambers dictionary to try out the new keyrepeat function, right after I found out about the new update. So one might say that Bookeen incites ebooks sales .
I went for the 1.5 version as I want to make use of the lookup function. The keyrepeat function sped up the lookup process. Btw. Mobipocket's selling Chambers at a discounted price. So you might want to check out the offer.
Folders are nice. Interface seems a lot snappier and more responsive. Dedicated lookup button would be nice, though.

As for the lookup latency, I noticed the search is faster with the dictionary on sdcard. I have only one book in the ebooks directory besides the dictionary and the search is nigh instantanous, so I guess the number of books in the directory is also a factor.

Thanks, Bookeen.

Great here too, except for the dictionaries !
I have them (and only them) from the 1rst time in the eBooks folder, and while it took less than 5 seconds to bring me the list, now it takes about 1 minute !
Maybe I have a cache to erase ?

PS : Oh yes, another change too : As the search was so long, I thought my Cybook was frozen, so I reset it, and the device didn't restart itself, like it did before. I had to push the Power button.

Updated to ePub 2.0
I like the new features (fast page'flipping' and PAGENUMBERS!!!!) however
I have a txt file of 375 pages - now I can't jump to a page anymore - when I flashforward to many pages I get the same result: a "reboot" and back to the library page....
Tested this with ePub books and this works great (even the table of contents appears in the menu now)
Anyone experience the same issue, then I'll send in a bug report.

Did anybody who had the updated firmware at the Paris meetup install version 1.5? Does 1.5 have noticeable advantages compared to this previous version?
I'm wondering about the speed in particular: my cybook seemed faster after the update, but not to such an extent as what is described here.

Can anyone tell me this:

When you switch back and forth between firmwares, how does this affect
a) your Mobipocket PID?
b) your Adobe Digital Editions device authorisation?

If you don't have the text-align option specified in the CSS, will the ePub firmware allow you to choose justified or not justified?

How is this "exclusive"? Don't the Sony 700 & 600 both have this feature too?

Yes, if you hold the page turn button down, you will get fast page flipping with the 600 & 700.

Yes, it will.

Unfortunately it might be hard to write a program that automatically remove text-align from body text but I will start doing it when converting my files.

One question to anyone with 1.5 software version: Is it still possible to hide headings, status bar, etc., during reading, so only the text of the book is shown? I hate such things, they distract me.
