Enh. Maybe I shouldn't have said it, since I'm fairly sure from context what happened, even though the sentence itself was very poorly constructed. Let's cross it off and leave it be.

"Cluedo" threw me for a minute, though--I always knew the boardgame as "Clue" Get on the Internet and get a different perspective :-)

What could possibly be in worse taste than the original topic of Kaufman's insane rants?

I've just received my new e-reader, and as I'm sitting here browsing the forum, I'm listening to some awesome classical music, preloaded on my device. The sound is amazing, at the moment Strauss' Blue Danube.... and there goes our traditional way of listening to music.

I think this thread is very - uhmm - entertaining.. Or maybe that just because of the beautiful music I'm listening to on my e-reader...

Yer right, as usual. And it's Chrismas Eve as well. Okay, I take it all back. But he's still taking a very public stance with an idjit-level opinion that is breathtaking in its stupidity. Love the person, loathe the stupid opinion, I say.

Ah, so that was his big plan! He got tired of us badmouthing him, so in the middle of it he joined up, thus making us pretend to not dislike him!

So, Kaufman still hasn't risen with the dawn and inhaled the homebrew, eh? I find myself wondering why this POP (pulp-obsessed person) keeps hanging around here... doesn't he have a library to haunt? Or a bonfire to throw water on? From his essay:

Quote:
No other authors have stood up to vocally protest what is happening to the book in our society: a fact that I anticipate will some day consign a good many writers to a less than proud place in the history of letters.
I think I know who's head of the line there...

I'm still intrigued that given all the insults, personal and group attacks that he hurled at US, he was apparently never warned with half so much vehemence as delphid and we get at the moderators' hands.

With all due respect to the moderators here, I would like to see this poster banned.

He deliberately incites inflammatory posts.....

Thru his posts he defames and deminishes those who died at the hands of monsters.

Now he's comparing our ebook readers to the taliban.

Enough.
