Not yet and probably won't until this Sunday. We are still trying to find his "real" owners, someone has to be missing him as he is like no other cat we have come across or had. Need a name by early Monday morning as he will be going to the vet and they need a name. Our short list so far is in no particular order:

Shadow
Lucky
Smokey
Karma

We had a dog when I was a kid, it literally followed me home from school one day - honest!! We spent a week or so feeding it on the porch and caring for it, thinking it would go home.

The entire time we just called it dog, so when we made a permanent member of the family that was his name ... "Dog". Maybe your new addition is "Cat" or "Kitten"?

You may be right, I have been calling him "Cat". Then again, he may be so confused by all the different names being tossed at him.

The do learn their names though, despite what some may say. My two definitely respond to their names.

They are also trained to come when I whistle for them.
