Unfortunately, I am out of luck. I want 8" from Sony but with standard aspect ratio. Then I would get as much on each page (widthwise) as on 6" but with base font 10 at medium size. It would very close to a hardback edition page then.
Most books I have (both hardback and paperback) are close to 16:9 in the text block. Only my textbooks and some others have a wider form factor, usually due to having multiple columns.

I'd probably consider the Sony Daily Edition if it didn't have e-ink.

The other reason to get the 505 is that you can customise the firmware to add a clock!

You can now add that to the 300 also. And page turns with the 7 and 8 buttons.
