New firmware upgrade today

How come Jinke doesn't provide any firmware upgrades for V5 on their website? All they have is the logomaker for the V5.

Go to Support -> Update then click V5. The latest update they have is 16-11-2009

Remember: that there is no "single" firmware release for the V5 (PEz)
Most modern hard drives have room to store many versions. Just remember to clearly label each folder with the brand and release info so you can find it again.

I haven't yet listened to an MP3 on the PP, nor have I any need for the clock.

As it stands, I like the PP as it is, but if there are improvements, I'll upgrade.

However, I also hear what many of you are saying... that this firmware slows things down a bit. I have not really noticed it yet... but I will bring it up and see why this may have happened and what can be done.

Yes, I copied straight from what the factory sent me. I do not know Danish or Denish; but suspect the factory got it wrong and it should be Danish. I think they think that people in Denmark speak "Denish".. So, I share your snicker!!

Dear Dr. Drib:

I would. We have talked eith the factory before about this and you cannot ever tell when they ship units if they are up-to-date or not. This is because they often do a run and then set it aside to do a bigger run for another customer. Astak is only one of their accounts.

You do NO harm by downloading a second time. In other words, if your unit has the first upgrade already on it and you re-download that Upgrade... no harm is done.

Thanks TheDucks for your reply. Yes, I already have updates for the last four months respectively stored in my pc in clearly marked folders as you wisely suggest. I was just wondering if Jinke had updates on their website, and Solicitous kindly pointed out to me where they are located.
