I'm not really sure why they implemented it this way. Why not move it to the Meda Library trash like your Videos/MP3 files which can be recovered?

This is just silly.

Oh, I am guessing they don't let you delete the Kindle's instruction manual. Check out another of your ebooks.

Apparently you can't delete anything that's last on a particular page (or sort). Change the sort and see if that helps.

This option is good for things you don't want recovered. Perhaps something you don't want your kids to ever find?

I guess. But, I would like to have both options. one to just move it to the trash but still be able to recover it... and one to permanently delete it.

I have simple tastes, I only want the best of everything.

Yes, it's still there for me.

Quite a few people on the Az forum are reporting they don't have it either, so I would just hang in there a little longer.

Here's the weird part - I had this function on Monday/Tuesday. When I checked on Wednesday, it was no longer there. It makes me wonder if Amazon wasn't trying this out to see if people liked or disliked. Interesting.

I have deleted two books now on two different days. As whitearrow said, if the book you want to delete is at the bottom of the page you dont get this option, so change the sort function until it appears anywhere else on your list and then you can delete. Thanks whitearrow for that tip!

The new delete feature is available in my account. K2 (v2.0.3) and KDX (v2.1)
