Duplicate files on SD card

Hi All,

Getting duplicate empty files (~4kb) on SD card when transferring from Mac.

The SD card previously crashed and was successfully reformatted using the Panasonic software from here.

Anyone have any similar occurences or fixes?

Don't get excited! No answers here, but I have the same thing (have a mac too). It used to irk me to no end, now I don't care, as I have them in categories by genre, so it's not like I have hundreds of 4kb files filling up pages....

So at least yours isn't the only wonky one

Standard with a mac, there is a little app you can use that strips them out automatically, it's freeware. I forget the name, but it was mentioned in other threads on this site in other forums

I believe those are thumbnails, which are invisible when viewed by a Mac, but irritating as all get-out on devices like phones and readers. Well. And PCs. Because of them, I use my windows notebook to transfer files (and clean the SD when I need forget and use the Mac.

Now that I know there are "cleaners" for the problem, maybe I'll go back to using the Mac. Thanks.
