My excuse is that it is 5:30 am here and I haven't had any caffeine. But I at least found today's letter. Now I can spend the day trying to figure out yesterday's.

Still have no clue about the title. Trilobites seem to be crawling in my head.

OK - I had to read the clue a couple of times before it twigged - but found it And my guess is still holding up!

Once we collect all the letters, we will get the book title, but it is one word, two words, three words?

It's eleven letters... combine them to a well-known booktitle.

Booktitles can have on word, two words, three words or more. It would be way to easy if they said how many there were

I'm pretty sure it's eleven words or less.

Actually, judging from the number of (supposedly) correct guesses, we already have more clues than we need.

It could be 3, 4 or 5 also. With 11 letters 6 or more words becomes less likely, I think.

Monte Carlo is a part of the city, Monaco-Ville and La Condamine are other parts, for instance.

But I totally misunderstood the "clue", I thought they had to go to Monaco (or to a place named like the hotel in Monaco, which leads them again to Monaco)

I vote for it being considered as valid, as long as it is a well-known book title. This reminds me of a quiz show on TV, where one of the questions (on movies and cinema) was "which actor flew in the Air Force One?" (or something like that). The contestant said "Ronald Reagan", while the correct answer was intended to be "Harrison Ford"... at the end they gave a correct score to the contestant

Which leads me to a trick. If you can't find a well-known book title, you can write your own book, give it a title with the 11 letters, and make it well-known before the contest ends
