Perhaps we should extract our revenge. The first person to find the letter keeps quiet about it, smuggles it out of wherever they've put it and we hid it somewhere else....

The next contest we will be geo-caching the clues. So, you have to travel the world to find them.

and just so you don't start complaining that it's too hard, i'll give you a little tip : the first clue (it will be pretty easy, to get you started) will be hidden somewhere in the Himalayas.

You planning on scaling Everest to hide it? I was going to hide mine in the local park next to a tree.

Geocaching is easy compared to yesterday's (UK time) clue. :grumble:

On the other hand - painkillers are fuzzing my brain so I'm not thinking straight.

Oooo, painkillers sound good. My eye is still twitching from spending so much time searching and trying to translate pages while looking for this last letter.

I'd have to say, I'm beginning to think that geocaching might have been easier.

Hope the headache is getting better, AM.

Still haven't found it!

TY! They're for my ankles (both of them) - so geocaching probably wouldn't be such a good idea right now...

(well ok it won't be THAT easy)
If you're gonna do it easy, do it at once in the morning!

What is the point of putting us early risers hard at work , while if one come in the evening he can find the name of the correct forum, the exact page, the name of the correct thread and even the name of the poster?

This is kiling me because we don't have an 'International' section. We have a 'Non English' section but that doesn't mean 'International'.

Maybe I need another drink.

Well, that took me nearly 40 minutes of pounding the forums to get that little bugger. I have great sympathy to anyone trying to do this over a slow connection!

However, I learned a valuable lesson today: wait about 10 hours until everyone starts giving additional clues on where to search. I was stupid enough to start searching before catching up on this thread. I don't know, maybe the other hints just SEEM obvious now that I know where it is.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, they can crank the difficulty until only three of us complete it. My perseverance is much better than my luck!

I had no problem finding the letter after I dug through 11 pages of posts and managed to find the *clue* itself. For those still having problems: the letter was exactly where I initially thought it might be when I read the clue. Shouldn't take more than 3 minutes of clicking if you know the layout of mobileread and have some patience. No special tricks are necessary.
