Yew would think the option would be available on the device itself? I am aware yew can use a computer to do it, but it would be nice not to have to hook it up. Finished reading a book? Push a button, delete it, and move on.

YOU would think that YOU would know how to spell YOU.

I suspect YOU do, but YOU are simply affecting... something.

It's highly annoying to try to read misspellings of common words, and makes me just want to skip most of your postings. You seem reasonably literate otherwise, so I'm not quite sure what to think. But I certainly skim quickly past your postings. I guess it's just one of my pet peeves...

Something else I would add to the list.

11) Option to turn hyphens on and off. Or (at the very least) better hyphenation! It is so doggone annoyi-
ng when the hyphens get it wrong, which at least in my experience, is most of the time!

Also, can someone here confirm the bug that the st-
atus bar does NOT display properly with FB2 files if yew set it to display on the bottom of the page? I have not seen mention of this, but for so-
me reason, it will only display on the top for me. Is anyone else having this pr-
oblem?

Since it was not addressed, I have to reiterate what the guy said on page two about the Battery life and Progress bar for ePub books. Its just slightly disconcerting to me that I don't know how from the end of the book I am, and in the rare instances I, for example, run the device down in the middle of the book, I have to go through the whole book searching for the page I was on. The implementation of this in the rtf files is fantastic IMHO. Thanks for continual great products!

In ePUB just hit the menu/OK button and it will show you exactly how far you are by displaying the page you are on and the last page number. With those two numbers you can just think of them as a fraction as they are displayed which indicates the distance you have traversed. Subtracting from 1 will tell you how far it is to the end (or just subtract the first number from the last to tell you how many pages are left.

It's a little odd that it doesn't have a status bar saying "Page X of Y", like all the other ADE devices appear to have. Something for the next firmware update, perhaps?

What is the difference between "Page 23 of 149" and 23/149. Does this really need to change?

The only benefit is that it's constantly visible, being on a status bar. Some people seem to prefer that.

Yes, I think there should be an option for PDF and ePUB to show the banner all the time although it gives up a line of reading and the clean page look particularly for images.

A full fledged status bar is especially useful to people who spend more time in the book than in the bookshelf. A good status bar should probably contain book title, author, progress information, and battery level. Time of day would also be nice for those of us who may read far into the night.

For non-rotated EPUB, You don't "give up a line", it is always blank (ASTAK V2.10 fw).
I am in favour of the Toggle of the status display mode.

EXCEPT it should always display when the Battery drops to a (calculated) Half Bar left.

RobertB Idea .
Put a Menu (key) for individual options (override) for the document, on the "About" (document) screen.

I think the intention was that you'd notice the tiny page numbers that they embed in the text on the right hand side. Trouble is, they are pale, tiny, and the often obscure a letter or two of the text.
