Library books with an iphone PID?
If I can get a hold of the PID for my iphone can I then use this to download library books to my iphone somehow?
I can get mobi and pdf ebooks from my library. I would prefer not to remove DRM since I am not comfortable running scripts and such..... and I read 2-3 books a week so it would be quite annoying to keep hacking books. THX |

I download the Audio books to the iphone. I download ebooks to my Sony 505. I have not looked recently to see if my library has begun to offer ebooks for the iphone. The Audio books on the iphone are quite nice, by the way. I can listen with headphones or thru the auxilary jack in the car.
Here's hoping you can do what you want to do! |

Thx rjfarrell. I can also download audiobooks using a windows machine and overdrive. I am between ebook readers bc I gave my Mom my Kindle 2 and am waiting for the release of the Nook.
In the meantime I am reading on my macbook which is not very practical due to battery life and lack of portability. Maybe someone else has tried? Anyone?? |
