I thought the lounge was for threads not related to ebooks?

Even though it is a bit frivolous it still concerns ereaders. But I may have got it wrong - has been known to happen a lot according to my hubs

These stories are a good reminder of why I don't like cats.

At this moment, millions (errr... several) of cats who obviously can operate computers are triangulating on your position and will be visiting you shortly! Be careful not to step on the chewed & shattered remains of your ereader.

My Kindle case has little holes in it due to this one. She's too cute to rage at, though.

We did have one foster kitten that caused the demise of my husband's (admittedly precariously placed) laptop. He wasn't too peeved since he'd been wanting a new one.

I'm kinda looking at my tabby cat in a new light after this thread.

She's currently sitting on my lap with big black eyes which I used to think were cute but now I'm not so sure. Didn't like the way she was eyeing up my ereader a few mins ago so that's safely tucked away. And I swear that purring is just to lull me into a false sense of security.

Cats are definitely devious little creatures.

see, if as a rule nothing horrid has happened thus far I think you have one of the kitters that just live and groove on the knowledge that they used to be worshipped as Gods and one of these days humankind will get their comeuppance from having forgotten their status. all these others out here wreaking havoc are still tallying penalty points and haven't gotten the message that Karma really does work in the land of the feline

Depression brought on by broken ebook follows....LOL and I have been there...interestingly the times my ebook readers have fallen, etc its been okay. However after how I think the screen on my 505 broke-I am now exceedinly careful with my reader and ipod touch. In fact,I've discovered there's a slight space between the bedframe and matress-so that if I forget to put them on the nightstand that's where they go....

HE suggested one of those "remote control cubby" thingslike the ones you see on tv,or slung over the sofas....and that is a boundary I won't cross, on any furniture...

(but he has noted, that when I've had a broken reader or some sort of reader problem..or well any gadget problem..my mood does change...dramatically...for the worse LOL )

LOL. Both! We foster so that's not generally a problem, at least during kitten season. We have three other kittens for him to play with right now.
