And I still think it would be a more interesting book than Paris Hilton's Bio. Heck that's why I started the thread to get an idea of what readers thought about it. But I guess I jumped the gun a bit. |

What scares me about Sarah Palin is that so many people seem to really believe she'd be a good choice for president.

The entertainment value would be worth the microscopic risk of her winning.

Donn, if the economy continues to stink (a big "if", I know), I expect that the public will blame the president no matter what he does. If so, I think the Republicans will win even if they nominate you or me!

Myself, if I were spending time and money on the products of a vacuous has-been beauty queen far past the end of her 15 minutes, I'd go for this: http://www.mercurynews.com/celebrities/ci_13782683

Not if the candidate runs on a republican platform (or better yet a Pailn platform). The wounds from the last time are too deep, and too fresh.

You sound confident and that's a little bit reassuring because I really am concerned that enough people think she's competent that she could win. And that idea is scary, not only because she'd be president, but also because of the poor judgement of the majority of the American public.
