Greetings!
Well, it appears I am off to a bit of a backwards start (posting a question before an introduction!).
I'm a long-time reader who is looking to add an ereader to my list of gadgets. Loved the idea of the Kindle when I first heard about it, but was disappointed to hear that Canada is not officially supported with the International version (although I understand some have had success in getting them to work in the Great White North). Anyway - I am still looking for my first ereader (leaning towards Sony PRS-300), and have found lots of useful information on this site already! GG |

Too bad about the Argos. Also the Leafs. Also the Blue Jays. Also the Raptors.
That's OK! I think the Hurricanes are on a 13-game losing streak! |

Hi GG and welcome to MobileRead.I've been trying to talk the forum moderators into not allowing any more Canadians to join MR till you lot agree to stop sending those Alberta Clippers down here. But do they listen?
BTW, I've had a Sony 505 since Jan 08 and really like it. Were I to be getting a new eBook reader today, I'd lean heavily towards the 300. Be sure and let us know which one you decide on. |

![]() Anyway, I am definitely leaning towards the PRS-300, but I also just read that Barns & Noble are enabling their ebook store to work (officially) in Canada and it would support the Nook. Not sure if they are willing to ship the Nook north of the border, but that one is also of interest to me. So many choices..... GG |
