I never watch movies on christmas... But if we hadn't planned to go to my mother's, we'd have had a old-year's marathon... And I want to see one christmas movie this year, "A Christmas Carol" with the voices of Jim Carey, Jim Carey, Jim Carey and Jim Carey... Last edited by Sweetpea; 11-12-2009 at 10:22 AM. |

Maybe you can help find this Christmas movie I've seen long ago, and now can't find... It featured this rich character who own/works in tv and is very nasty to people and somebody takes him on a time trip in a taxi and shows him scenes from his childhood causing him to change his behavior... I don't remember much about it, as you can see , but it did left an impression on young me. |

I've never seen 'It's a Wonderful Life' - maybe I'll watch it this Christmas. In the UK, the traditional Christmas TV film is 'The Great Escape' - can't get much more Christmassy than that! |

My favorite version of A Christmas Carol is the one done in the early 1990's by the Muppets. Again, I'm totally serious. Okay, it's because Michael Caine did a good job and it was also very warm and funny. The best acting of Ebenezer was done by Jean-Luc Piccard (you know, what's his name?) in another version. It was the most credible interpretation of the character's dialogue that I've ever seen. |
