Jaxx and Wyld, I hope you both recover quickly. Now is not the time for hand injuries. Wyld, as a marathoner, how could you hurt yourself by sprinting at the start? Please take care! I have a feeling there are many novels inside you, waiting their turn to come out. Going to find pshrynk's first chapter now! I made it past the 15,000 mark, but today was a struggle, so I shall reward myself with some reading. |

Nope. I don't think it's broken. Thanks for all the well wishes. I jammed it in one of those oriental style room dividers. Curse World Market and their fun toys. Mostly, it's my fault. I couldn't let sleeping dogs lie and just had to rearrange the furniture. Plus I got one of those fancy new electric fireplaces from the home depot =) Anyway - I think I just jammed it...But I did trudge on and managed to do 6,500 tonight. It's now 3am and time for bed. My count is now at around 22k. (21,955 by my count) Act 1 is almost complete. I think I may have waxed poetic for a little too long tonight though. Oh well. I'll let the reader decide It's bed time. I drained the Mac to 23%. Tomorrow morning is a reading day..I hear there's some new stuff out there =) Congrats to all, and to all a good night. |

Just 10 days into it and you people have 15k, 20k, even 30k?! I'm stunned. And very pleased. Good on ya!

The novels aren't posted anywhere unless you want them up. I can only find an exerpt section on Nano site. My first chapter is in the Write's Corner.

Well. I just managed to get the suicidal Autopilot to convince the heroes that they should take the plane off in an "unconventional" way. Good old Bernouli...
