NanoWriMo 2009 - Page 11

I've got this sodding cold/flu bug again and have done about another half a dozen words.

My plan is I'll get feverish later tonight, and write 10k or so in a temperature-induced haze of creativity.

Failing that, I'll try and get creativity from overdosing on cough sweets.

So sorry you're sick, Am.

I like that fever-induced creativity idea, though. I've never known it to work, but I like it!! I'm always too achy and pathetically sorry for myself to get any good out of illness.

MontsnMags, your dogs are/were beautiful! Nice photography, too! As I write this my own dog is warming my legs (on a recliner, my legs out straight) as she loves to do. Our cat might stroll by for a visit, if he feels like it!

Love the animals, especially the pets.

I started mine last week. Unfortunately, I'm a student and therefore do not always have the opportunity to write

. I've only written 1,324 words so far but I'm sure i can make it to 10k by this weekend which means i have to stop being on these forums.

I go between bouts of feeling very pathetically sorry for myself, and trying to convince world + dog that I'm actually OK. Today, the latter lasted the 5 minutes it took me to get the chemists. It then took me nearly twice that to get home again!

I have, however, just taken advantage of some stubborness or fever, and knocked out around 1000 words.
