Ohhh, keep the religious bigot! Someone to hate works nicely. Umm, the Mary Sue needs to fall in love with the bigot, have sex with him, then be denounced as a harloting spawn of satan. Which will loosen her up amazingly, after the floods of tears in which she accidentally lets loose a demon to stalk the bigot dude.

Well, there's no "i" in team and no "s" in "he", but apart from that you've touched on some already premised notions. But, a demon though...? Why, that would require something bestial, sub-human, ostensively evil...maybe even a...a gibbon. Surely I wouldn't have written a gibbon into my first novel?

Or would I?

Hello, Zelda. How's the town of Farking treating you? Was it necessary to take to that clock-radio with a cricket bat? I'm going to say, yes...in fact I did quite strongly suggest that it was justified in Chapter...4, I think it was.

Well, one day of only 300 words, one day of a little over 1300 and today's my wife's bday so no writing at all.

Luckily I'm sitting on 1140 or so, so I should be able to take off sprinting again and not fall behind.

I hope so, I've just got another 400 in so far today, so I'm over 7,000. My problem is that I started late and still haven't caught up. My goal for today is to crack the 10K barrier if at all possible. That way I should be able to at least get on track for the finish.

Right now I have a gorilla in a three-piece suit fighting zombies: it's not a fair fight though, the gorilla has a flamethrower in each hand.

I keep having to keep the German Missionary/Nazi Spy character from taking over the book. This is about Armistice, Constance, and Vivaldi, after all. I'm at 23,550 and may get some more in today. It would be cool to be half way at one week.
