But seriously, I feel your pain. It sounds not dissimilar from trying to provide phone support for a product you've never seen to someone who doesn't know how to explain things clearly

I have learned not to say that. But, it doesn't stop me from using the corollary... if I can't reproduce it, I can't fix it. Often we don't get all the information needed to duplicate the issue... or in this case the correct environment.

When's the last time you were able to fix "it doesn't work" or "it crashed"???

Ack. My external hdd is currently sounding like an old, loud, manual typewriter. I only use it for backups, so it could be worse. Time to make sure I have all my important stuff on multiple usb keys and in the cloud.

I hate summer/winter time... (daylight saving time and daylight spending time?)

I'm one of those persons that just can't cope with it for about 2 or 3 months. Beside that, people get out of bed too early and instead of being just before the busy traffic time, I'm right in the middle of it...

I *had* a water pillow. kindle kitten apparently had issues with it. I now have a very wet duvet

no, these are the big heavy duty ones and they leak ever so slowly. it also makes it damn near impossible to find her little claw holes and patch them. she has "purchased" about $700 worth of them. I think *knocks wood* she's over it now
