NZ -Where quite frankly we aren't spoiled for choice in ereaders. Following posts closely and learning heaps. We live on a yacht and, as an avid reader, the accumulation of books could present us with a wet problem - sinking is never good. So I would like to get an ereader and as I am completely silly where all this technical blurb is concerned I am having to learn fast.

At this stage I don't have an ereader but it looks like the Hanlin V5 is the go as we can buy that from Australia and it suits us with price. Will keep on lurking and watching and learning and will hopefully make my mind up soon.

If you're buying an ebook reader to use on a yacht, you may wish to consider a waterproof pack for it:

Search on Aquapac or Whanganui (that's a good Kiwi word!)

Welcome to Mobileread, S/V Willow.

You'll find many of your Aussie neighbors here also. Some even have kindles, and have managed to figure out workarounds.

Whichever reader you get, you'll wonder how you ever did without.

Be sure and download some of the free books available here, and don't hesitate to ask questions.
