yep, here too. but last night as i was coming home from florence's art show, i was feeling the love for my boots, as i noticed that my feet were nice and toasty despite the chill. i really don't know how i lived without them before.

It's been unseasonably cold here and rainy. We even had a frost advisor for this morning. Thankfully, it didn't get below 34 F because I left the fountain running in my garden.

It looks like it's time to dig up the annuals and start to winterize the yard. Usually I don't have to do that until well into November. I'm going to miss all the flowers.

I dug up the canna lillies and elephant ears last weekend. Most of the annuals we don't preserve are frozen off and the only thing still going in the pots are the spikes. Farking Fall.

Really? Already? I'm not there just yet, but it might be because I've been pumpkin picking last weekend, and this morning was the first in a couple weeks where the temperature was over 5 degrees (C). Still beautiful autumn here!
