Mmm, you may have a point here. But I can't stay, I need to start painting... as soon as I recover the use of my arms that is.

Ahhh. You should have become a lecturer; they are positively encouraged to slur in front of students. At least that's my experience and understanding of the purpose of an SCR.

I'm so glad you are back to posting again, LS! I missed your posts. You have just the right balance of dry witticism and zaniness.

I just got back from school; I've never had such a great day before! We just got our first report card grades for Pre-Calculus, and I have a 98!

This is coming from somebody who makes solid B's half the time. All of my other class grades are A's, but math has always been hard. This is what I get for being right-brain dominant.

Speaking of good grades, we got back our Anglo-Saxon Period History/ Beowulf tests, and I'm one of the only people who made an A! Seriously, it's sad. I'm pretty sure most grades were a C or lower, except for the select few of us who actually paid attention in class.

This is awesome! I can't wait to see what my rank is. I'm definitely in the top 10, and probably even top 5, but this is going to be a tight race.

Besides that, I'm reading How to Read Literature Like a Professor, by Thomas C. Foster. It's extremely well-written, enlightening, and absolutely hilarious. Anyone who appreciates an intelligent mind will love it. Seriously, he compares the Holy Grail to Wonder Bread. It's thought-provoking, educational, and overall an enjoyable read so far; I highly recommend it.

In the meantime, I'll keep daydreaming about getting my reader. I saw a few Ayn Rand books at the store and thought about buying them, but then I remembered I don't have anywhere to put them...

Alas, my poor heart! How can I bear to leave such fine literature homeless and alone?

You must have an excellent teacher! I do admit to being a bit prejudiced, as it is my profession. I loved Pre-Calc but strangly enough, rarely used the knowledge. Of course, I taught 5th graders and the most difficult concept they had to deal with was fractions! The book sounds interesting and something my daughter would be interested in reading.

Karma to you for the good report!

Buy them ready? Just make sure you get them in a format that is either compatible with whichever reader you plan on getting, or can be format shifted

Or buy the reader now...

Well, I had. Hmmmm. I'm now wondering if that is an explanation for the strange time dilation effect that effects copying estimates under windows? Or is that because the person who implemented that algorithm had too many ZCDs.

Off topic: what is the collective noun for Zany Carters?
