I'm currently sitting in a Cincinnati hotel hoping the rain holds off or at least doesn't delay my flight. I'm anxious to get home to my family. This is the first time I've been away from them for an extended length of time.

On a side note, Cincinnati is a lovely city and I wish the circumstances for my visit had been different so that I could have explored more.

well I have decided that this storm is not going to let up so getting to the puppy park today isn't happening. the power has been going on and off for the last 2 hours. both kindles (yes both! I bought one of the refurbished k1's) are charged up, the oil lmaps are filled, the firewood is in. I haven't decided whether to have a sherry or a tea, but I am ready to kick back, kuddle the kindle kitten and read until my eyes hurt.
