Where are you?

Realize, its only 10 weeks before Christmas.

Plans made? Gift Lists thought out? Menu planned?

Perhaps you've already bought, wrapped and tagged gifts?

Where are you in the great process of the Christmas season?

(this subject isn't my fault, you know. I am already being hit with Christmas commercials, displays in stores, and newspaper ads..........so I figured you should suffer also!

You guys have two almost two more weeks than I do... Hanukkah is only a little over 8 weeks away!

I don't think about Christmas until about a week before Thanksgiving.

You'll have to forgive me, I worked retail for many years. *shudder*

I did too!!! Something like 25 years.

Nothing like working Christmas Eve, the stores closed at 6pm, but people were still pouring in.

Did management close? Noooooo........God forbid they should lose the money! So the associates lost time with their families for the glory of the company.........

And just try getting Thanksgiving weekend off or any time two weeks before or after Christmas...........

Oh man, no luckily we always closed 6pm on the dot. Usually the mall wasn't that busy on Christmas Eve. Usually just men buying last minute stuff.

I haven't even started to think about buying presents, thank god I have a very nice wife who loves christmas and takes care of every other aspect of it

Sorry, no christmas for some time to come here... First Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas), and only after December 6th will the Christmas fury break.

But I got one christmas present bought a few months ago already. One needs to be ordered still, and the third I've no idea about yet.

Plans were made in March. We're going to my mother in Hungary.

We don't do "christmas menus". If we were staying at home, we'd most likely be "gourmetten".
