			Why such a little-used format?

Not available in Australia either. What is the sense of refusing a free book for geographic restrictions? On the other hand the only way they know where I live is my email address. I'll see if I can get an anonymous email address through gmail or something. Regards, Alex |

They know because of your IP address, you need a US based proxy address to spoof your location.

Changed my address and used a US-based proxy. Could be because my visa number is in my profile (which you can't remove). So no go. Only way is create a second account and falsify my information....don't want the book that bad, I only saw FREE and went for it.

No UK as with most of Short Covers it seems. Does anyone know where you can buy the Discworld novels as ebooks in the UK for a reasonable price? I want to do away with my tatty old paperbacks but it seems the US has better luck buying British authors. |

Thanks for this. It took me a couple of different proxies to be able to download it, but I eventually got a copy. I must admit I was shocked to find it DRM'd though Another paperback that I can now get rid of |

I've read a lot of people here raving about Pratchett, but I've not read any. Is this an okay book to start with?

It's been a long time since I read this one but I do recall it as being one of my least favourite. As far as I can remember, I started with one of the Death books. I think it was either Mort or Reaper Man. |
