Accuweather
I have a news.ixl made up that has about 5 weblinks to sync with my Palm via Isilo. At first none of them worked at all, then I realized I needed to enter my proxy info into IsiloX. After this all of my channels worked except for Accuweather. I am using http://avantgo.accuweather.com/pda/i...?zipcode=XXXXX. I get the following error:
Proxy authentication failed Proxy authentication failed Proxy authentication failed Unable to open: http://avantgo.accuweather.com/pda/i...?zipcode=83607 Anythoughs on what is up, I would hazard to guess my proxy server is blocking access, but if I go to the page within IE I access it fine. Any thoughts? ![]() |

Seems like I vaguely remember having occasional problems with the direct link to Accuweather too. I have my Accuweather link set up as three pages per channel, using the following links:
http://avantgo.accuweather.com/pda/l...?zipcode=xxxxx http://avantgo.accuweather.com/pda/r...?zipcode=xxxxx http://avantgo.accuweather.com/pda/s...?zipcode=xxxxx Haven't had any problems with this. |

It was indeed by proxy server at work, when I got home and tried it over my broadband connection it worked fine.
![]() I however am having another problem, the cookies don't appear to be working in Isilo. It sync'ing my main zipcode, but not the optional location. It works fine when I open my browser and go to the link directly, I look at the cookie being stored on my laptop and it does have my local zip and the optional one. I copied the info in the cookie on my pc into the cookies section within Isilo for that link, but it is still not working. Any ideas. ![]() |

I found a thread that has some cookie instructions using Mozilla browser. It worked like a champ, all is good, thanks!
