Sounds great to me. One thing I admire about my current workplace is that they provide alternately doughnuts or bagels on Fridays!

ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!! I just heard that Twitter got another $100 million of investment and still don't have a revenue stream!!!!!!!

We only want 1/100th of that and our new service has a revenue stream!!!!!!!!! Getting investment is a painful process and seems to take more time than it does to develop the service. Oh well at least we will be going to Alpha testing in the next week :-)

(sorry little self obsessed on this one, and it is no where near as serious as so many rants on here)

An old friend of mine went though that a few years back, trying to get funding for his site, which had a revenue stream and was profitable. I told him he was probably aiming too low. Venture capitalists are looking for the big win. Instead of asking for five million, he should have asked for fifty million...

Our stinking state is almost bankrupt, and for the 2nd year in a row, no money for raises or catering. And the univ banned all of the pharmaceutical and/or home health reps from bringing in meals. But we used to live high on the hog!

Your right - we have had an offer of £100,000 but I need a bit more - I think I may up it to £5 million lol to get some buy in.

The reason they don't like the small numbers, like mine, is that the Due Dilligents can be expensive and not worth their effort. Oh well I'll keep battling on - another investor meeting friday
