Ended PRS-505 Needed!

My father was totally impressed by this device, and now wearing me to death, asking to find another for him. So please, if anyone want to sell Sony PRS-505 - please, let me know. Thanks in advance!

Its becoming hard to find them. Most of the retailers have gotten rid of their stock and those that haven't are charging a pretty penny. Even Ebay prices have gone up a lot. Ebay would be your best bet but since you don't seem to be in the US it might be tough as a lot of the sellers only ship to the States. Hopefully someone on these forums is looking to sell theirs (although most folk here seem to love their PRS-505s

Your best bet is here, unless you want to pay hilariously high amounts at ebay.

The PRS-505 is still on sale in Europe. Why not just buy one from the UK, France, or Germany?

Probably quite a lot - but there are many European members here that may be looking to sell their second hand 505 at some point.

The last two ebook readers were delivered to me for 35$ each (USPS, Priority Mail). But it still VERY cheap since new the ebook reader here in Belarus would cost me 300-350$. I already saved a lot of $$$

As of the middle of last week Office depot online still have them for sale. They are priced at $299.

I would strongly recommend snapping one up asap. I have been following prices on Ebay and they have been rising up unfortunately. A couple of weeks back you could get one for around $200 or less but now even the used ones are selling for $230 minimum. The brand new ones are selling for around $280-$310. With production of the PRS-505 halted, I do not see the prices coming down, especially when the newer ereaders from Sony don't seem to be definitively superior to the PRS-505.

Yeah, I also see this tendency, and its quite bad. But let's see what will happen, because I think that new models (and maybe brands) will rise up, and it will cause price reducing...I hope
