I found those beautiful Proporta leather cases (and a decent-seeming screen protector) for sale to US customers at: http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05...932&t_mode=cat

I am wondering whether Amazon US will soon carry the case. They now show the black and brown as "currently unavailable":

Do you think the Amazon price will be lower than going through Proporta direct? Surely is a lovely case . . . .

I hear you. I'm totally in love with it too but don't think I can justify spending around 25% of the cost of the reader again on a cover...

By accident, I've got the "Proporta" cover for Sony 600. I've ordered the original Sony cover, but they've delivered the one from "Proporta".
The "Proporta" cover is significantly more robust, especially the front "shield".
What I don't like: In the front, you find a huge "pocket" for business cards, notes and other stuff like that.
I'd like to have it "flat" instead. But over all the quality is nice and I'll probably keep it.
BTW: I've paid 34 British Pounds.

you are a lucky person!! wish I had a mix up like that..
as with others here, i am hoping the price will be lower once it's on amazon US...84 dollars is more than I am willing to spend on a cover...
