...and by "worserer", I mean that the sun looks like a tragically fading 10w globe in the sky, into which you can easily stare without the slightest trouble (other than the permanent damage to your retinas, of course).

I just went outside to put the bin out, and it's like breathing a very fine cloud of talcum powder (I could instantly feel again the leftovers of the bronchitis I recently had). I think we'll leave the dogwalk off until later.

My dogs would tolerate facemasks almost as readily as I tolerate dressing animals in human(-like) clothes.

It's actually their nasal regions we worry about though - very sensitive to such things.
