. . .drive for four days (2 days there and 2 days back) in the car with 3 children (2 of whom are adults but act like they're 5) and 2 dogs (thankfully leaving the vocal sheltie at home), spend time with my parents (my father asking me to help him "fix" his computer that I "fix" everytime I come to Florida and my mother dragging me to every flea market in the state), trying to sleep in a house without air conditioning (even though they have it, we don't need to turn it on because it's not REALLY "that" hot), being introduced around at the Country Club (like we haven't met all of there friends before), etc., etc., etc. . .

I keep trying to organise one in Noosa Heads, but no-one's interested. Mind you, I think my announced "Meet-up Alert! Noosa Heads! My place! In five minutes! In the spa! Drinks are on me!" might have something to do with attendance numbers. Still, more drink and quiet ereader time for me, hey?

I'd love to come, but it'll take more than a weekend... I could use some real summer as we had a most beautiful spring but a horrible summer.

(at least they speak some kind of English, unlike France...)

Don't really get us anywhere...

Having gone in other country, it's true we French have a bad record when it comes to English...

I can confirm that the answer was that the firmware update is coming "soon". Bookeen don't want to release it until they have ensured that any bugs are removed. They don't want to be tied to a date, but anticipate releasing the update in the very near future.

If it's OK with you, though, I'd prefer the drinks on a table?
