the good thing is kittens need lots of naps. my cousins had some of those fishing toys and their kitten LOVED them, she would take these unbelievable acrobatic leaps in the air like spiderman. crazy how much lift those beasts can get ! i'm thinking of getting one too but so far one of my cats' favourite toys is the feather duster type thing, she likes it when i hide it underneath something (a bag, a blanket, whatever) so she can "sneak up" on it. |

I love her, but she's not the sharpest tack in the box!

my cats *usually* don't crash into things, but they do get a bit carried away sometimes... i wouldn't have thought of playing with a dog with a laser pointer, i didn't know they liked that sort of thing.

i've got a red one but it works better at night obviously. just try explaining that to the bug when she's harrassing me for it in the middle on the afternoon. sadly, thinkgeek won't sell to me, so i'll have to see if i can find one here.

I bought David the really powerful green one that "Think Geek" offers where you have to use a key to turn it on. He was pointing it down the upstairs hallway and it reflected off the bathtub in the bathroom at the end of the hall all the way back at him. It scared him so much that he sent it back the next day. He was worried one of the kids would get a hold of it and use it irresponsibly. Thankfully, Zack's isn't that powerful.
