Between the Kindle and the Sony sales, do you think perhaps authors out there will get the message???

As of right now, the hardcover has pulled ahead of the Kindle version.

I do also take issue with the fact that the ebook is only selling in us/can/uk !

I have as of now tried purchasing in like 10 stores and the message is the same "purchase not allowed for your region" (I live in brazil ), thats total crap, how would you like entering a store and the guy say he wont sell you because he doesnt like your face?

But hey, no matter, no matter, all is well, I just found (but nooo, I wont download, nooo sir, nooo) the p1r4t 'version' by torrent (real thing, not fake) , so, this is how much money theyll be making from me, the mighty sum of zero ($0.00) bucks

so seeya guys, have a nice read! **At least to all of those are worthy of buying the book!**

Time and time again, I'm angered by the US-only mentality on the net. I can't for instance download this particular book from the usual suspects because I dare to live outside the USA. I can't use Kindle, I can't buy from Sony, I now find that there's a whole bunch of other ebook retailers because I don't live in Pudunk, USA, It's a piece of nonsense! Like the US doesn't need Euros, pounds and Yen with the dollar in shreds. Bloody arrogance. Neil

Dan Brown apparently does not want my money, since non-american money is obviously no good. I'll have to look elsewhere to see what supernatural powers Mr. Langdon has developed ever since he jumped out of a helicopter.

AnemicOak listed a couple of stores in the U.K. (non-American money) that are carrying the ebook. Are you not able to use either of those?

duh ... he who can read is clearly in advantage ... or however the saying goes.
Thanks for the reminder, I didn't bother with other stores after my usual suspects all turned me down due to geographic limitations.

Thanks, waterstone's it'll be. A bit more pricey than north americans, but still digestable.

No one has the MS Lit format; the only one I know how to remove DRM on. I'd love to get it for my Dad and put it on his Reader in LRF (he doesn't like ePub) with minimal margins.
