I got an email from M-Edge that said they did plan to offer one of the lights for the Sony reader cases.

I also let the people at M-Edge that the bottom outer strap was pressing on the volume rocker and making the battery drain more quickly. I didn't tell them, but I took some Swiss Army knife scissors and nipped a chunk out of the strap to make it work.

I think we are buying lots of covers from Europe (more than 25 only from an Spanish forum in less than three weeks) so they are trying to take advantage of our interest and have risen the prize 10$. Awful, but no more orders from Spain right now (from the forum, I mean).

Another thought: If they realize (and are going to) that the cover fits the new model PRS-600 like a glove, the prize could be restored to the original 39.99$ as there is no need for an offer.

Just got my PRS-600 and m-edge case. The case fits fine and is quite nice, but it does hit the volume rocker on the bottom, and it also covers up the charging light on the top. Other than that, I found it makes a perfect bookstand for reading in landscape mode.

I just got a PRS600 and I am desperately looking for a skin (decal). My old 505 had a skin on it (which I got from skinit.com) and it was great, I loved the design and it does protect the device.

Unfortunately, since I got my new reader, I looked all over the net for a skin designed specifically for the PRS600 and I can't find it.All I found were skins for the 505 and a few for the 700 but given that it (PRS700) is a little bigger than the 600, i don't think the 700 skin would fit.
Any suggestions, please?

I contacted DECAL GIRL on it, but they said they weren't contemplating producing any skin for the 600, but that they'd consider adding the 600 to their list.
However, I did find an ebay seller (wickeddecalskinz) who has a stock of skin for the PRS505 and the 700. I think I'll order the skin for the 700 and see if and how it fits!
I'll let y'all know when I receive it (don't hold your breath though, it'll take a while from the UK to Haiti

I noticed that Amazon still has the $14.99 price for the 700 M-edge covers while the covers for the 505 have gone up to 24.99. Is it true that the 505 fits perfectly in a 700 m-edge cover? Can some of you confirm this for me? Thanks.

Does it work with the 600? Because it could be the end of the problems with the volume button (I've tried mine on the 600 and it seems not to give me those problems, but I need it for the 505 and er, it's green on a red 600!).

I do not use the elastic at the top left hand corner. I use the cover mainly for protection and transport and take the device out often. The other three tabs hold it securely, and I can see the light easily.

I Can confirm that the 700 M-Edge case works perfectly for the 505. The spine area is narrower, and for me it is better because it is less "floppy" than the 505 cover. If you have a light that fits in the spine area, it may be too narrow.

I really like the way the 700 cover fits the 505 much better for my purposes.

I just receive the M-Edge Executive Leather Jacket for the PRS-700 and I have tried my 600 on it. The fit seems perfect. None of the buttons are affected, the only thing is the elastic on the upper right corner is on the SD card slot. If you'd want to remove it, you'd just slide the elastic off...
So far so good, I'll put a post of I notice anything out of order...

I'm sorry about the skin for the PRS-700. The problem is that the design changed so much that you can't even say "oh, well, let's trye the one for the 505" (being similarly sized), because of the two "buttons". Ouch.
