Do you know of any reasonably authoritative listing of Karl May's books ordered by the internal (i.e.: story) chronology?

I've not been able to find such a thing to date in either English or Hungarian.

I don't think such a thing exists, primarily because I don't believe that May's works are sufficiently internally consistent as far as their chronology is concerned.

FWIW, a quick google found the following link, listing a possible chronological order for the movies and audio dramas in German, which should be a reasonable match for the books, too.

But it doesn't seem to have what ahi is asking for, namely an in-story chronology of May's books, as opposed to a publication-order bibliography.
