I got 2 notifications

from Stamps.com that my ONE blue one was sent US Mail on Friday.

The email I got was from Fedex with the tracking no. If Astak has finished their preparation and packaging, then Fedex has to pick up and put in their system. Does Fedex pickup on Saturday? I don't think UPS works Saturday. If Fedex does not, then it is likely that they will pick up from ASTAK on Monday, and all the emails from the pickup will be sent out then.

Hopefully Mexican customs will be faster than their Canadian counterpart. My package left San Francisco customs on Sept. 3, and Canada customs has had my package since Sept. 8.

Not sure about customs, excepts that US Customs in China had the coloured devices for almost a week, I reckon.

At least you can take comfort in the fact that once it leaves customs, only a couple days rest between anticipation and joy

That depends on whether he lives in one of the big cities or in a smaller town. Canada Post isn't exactly famous for speedy delivery. But it will get there eventually.
